THISABILITY

Mary Theresa Archbold is a performer. Most recently she had the pleasure of working Off Broadway for Manhattan Theater Club as U/S in Cost of Living. Other Off Broadway credits are the world premier of Samuel D. Hunter's, The Healing and original short plays by Neil LaBute and David Henry Hwang, She has performed improv for The Second City, iO Chicago, The PIT and Magnet Theaters. She has told stories for NPR's This American Life, The Moth, and Risk!, as well as her own podcast, Funny Parents. She has danced and sang all across this country in shows like West Side Story, The Music Man, and Annie Get Your Gun. She has taken her 2 person semi-autobiographical sketch show, Jazz Hand: Tales of a One Armed Woman which debuted at Fringe NYC (Outstanding Actor Award) toured the country and wound up with an invited performance at The Kennedy Center. The short film she created from it Jazz Hand won her the Best Actor Award at the NBC Shortcuts Film Festival (Best Actor Award).
